A l’est du lac Malta, dans la vallée de la rivière Cybina, se
trouve
le Nouveau Zoo
qui s’étend sur 116,33 hectares.
Construit à partir de 1967, il a été ouvert au public en
1974.
Environ 60% de sa surface est occupée par les pins et les
forêts mixtes. Le torrent coupant le terrain du Zoo a été éta-
gé en formant un enchaînement d’étangs, dont la superi-
cie jointe couvre plus de 16 hectares.
On y trouve près de
deux mille animaux
de 260 espèces
diférentes, vivant dans les conditions proches de leurs
conditions naturelles. Pour les visiteurs, trois pistes de
diférentes longueurs ont été tracées.
En 1995, le Zoo a ouvert
la Maison des Animaux Noctur-
nes
. Depuis mai 2002, sur le terrain du Zoo, on peut admi-
rer
les tigres sibériens
, pour lesquels a été construite une
nouvelle installation permettant de les observer dans les
conditions proches de celles de leur milieu naturel. De mai
à août, on peut également visiter
la maison de vol libre
des papillons
, où environ 100 papillons tropicaux aux co-
uleurs féériques volent au milieu d’une exubérante végé-
tation exotique.

Kursuje do Nowego Zoo, początek ul. Jana Pawła II (niedaleko kościoła św. Jana Jero-
zolimskiego). Codziennie 16.04-02.10: 10-19, co godzinę w dni powszednie; co pół
godziny w dni wolne od pracy.
The train runs from Jana Pawła II St. (near the Church of St. John of Jerusalem) to the
New Zoo. The service is available daily 16.04-02.10: 10-19 every one hour; sob./Sat./
Sa. – niedz./Sun./So. every half an hour.
Fährt zum Neuen Zoo, die Anfangsstation: ul. Jana Pawła II (in der Nähe der St. Jo-
hannes-von-Jerusalem-Kirche). Verkehrt täglich von 16.04 bis 02.10: 10- 19 Uhr jede
Stunde, Sa.- So. jede halbe Stunde.
Le parcours se termine au Nouveau Zoo, et part de la rue Jana Pawła II (près de l’église
Saint-Jean-de-Jérusalem). Tous les jours pour la période du 16 avril au 2 octobre: de
10h à 19h, une fois par heure les jours ouvrables; une fois par demi-heure les jours
libres.
En 2009 un
parc des éléphants
a été ouvert qui se com-
pose d’un pavillon interne (1 300 m
2
) et d’une installation
extérieure (2,5 ha) avec bassin. En pensant aux visiteurs, à
côté de l’installation principale, on a construit un „village
africain” où se trouvent entre autres un bar et un café. A
partir d’une haute terasse du village où l’on subit en pas-
sant par un pont, on peut observer un panorama naturel
du zoo ainsi que les installations pour les éléphants avec un
torrent et une une chute d’eau. Autour de l’installation ex-
térieure et dans le pavillon interne, il y a des espaces libres,
destinés à l’éducation sous forme de planches didactiques,
y compris des planches interactives.

Le long de la rive nord du lac, la ligne de
téléphérique
„Maltanka”
, mise en marche en 1972, fait communiquer le
Nouveau Zoo et la ville. Elle a une longueur de 3,8 km envi-
ron en commençant à la station „Maltanka” et inissant à
celle de „Zwierzyniec” (à proximité de l’entrée du Nouveau
Zoo). En 1994, on a mis en marche un wagon moteur appe-
lé, vu sa forme caractéristique, Ryjek (groin). Aujourd’hui, il
est le plus ancien wagon moteur en utilisation en Europe.

Po wschodniej stronie Jeziora Maltańskiego znajduje się
położone w dolinie Cybiny
Nowe Zoo
. Ma ono powierzch-
nię 116,33 ha. Budowane od 1967 r., w 1974 r. zostało udo-
stępnione publiczności.
Około 60% powierzchni zajmują drzewostany sosnowe
i lasy mieszane. Strumień płynący przez teren zoo spiętrzo-
no, tworząc szereg stawów o ogólnej powierzchni ponad
16 ha.
Znajduje się tu prawie
2 tysiące zwierząt
około 260 ga-
tunków. Zwierzęta przebywają w warunkach zbliżonych
do naturalnych. Dla odwiedzających wytyczono trzy trasy
zwiedzania o różnej długości.
Zoo posiada otwarty w 1995 r.

Od maja 2002 r. na terenie zoo można podziwiać
tygrysy
syberyjskie
. Specjalnie na ich potrzeby zbudowano nowy
wybieg, który pozwala na obserwację zwierząt w warun-
kach zbliżonych do naturalnych. Od maja do sierpnia moż-
na również zwiedzać
halę wolnego lotu motyli
, gdzie
około 100 tropikalnych, bajecznie kolorowych motyli lata
w otoczeniu bujnej egzotycznej roślinności.
East of Lake Maltańskie, in the valley of the River Cybina,

started in 1967; in 1974, the zoo was opened to the public.
About 60 % of its area is covered by pine and mixed forests.
A stream lowing through the zoo was dammed to form a
number of ponds, whose overall area is over 16 ha.
The zoo has about

, which are kept in semi-natural environments. Visi-
tors have a choice of three possible walking routes of dif-
ferent length.
In 1995,
a nocturnal animal house
was opened. Since May
2000 the zoo has exhibited
Siberian tigers
, for which a
special enclosure was built. From May to August it is oppor-
tunity to visit the
butterly house
, where about a hundred
beautifully coloured tropical butterlies ly among exotic
plants.
An der Ostseite des Malta-Sees erstreckt sich auf der Fläche
von 116,33 ha im Zybina-Tal der
Neue Zoo
. Ab 1967 ge-
baut, wurde er 1974 für die Besucher eröfnet.
60% seiner Fläche ist mit Kiefer- sowie Mischbaumbestand
bewaldet. Infolge der Aufstauung des durch den Park lie-
ßendes Baches entstand eine Reihe von Teichen, deren Ge-
samtläche 16 ha beträgt.
Im Zoo leben gegenwärtig in naturnahen Bedingungen
etwa
2000 Tiere von ca. 260 Tierarten
. Den Zoobesu-
chern werden drei Besichtigungsstrecken von unterschie-
dlicher Länge vorgeschlagen.
1995 ist ein
Nachttierhaus
eröfnet worden. Seit Mai 2002
kann man im Neuen Zoo die
sibirischen Tiger
bewundern.
Man hat für diese eine spezielles Freigehege gebaut, das
erlaubt, die Tiger in den Bedingungen zu beobachten, die
seinen natürlichen Lebensräumen ähneln. Von Mai bis Au-
gust kann man das
Schmetterlingshaus
besichtigen, wo
etwa 100 tropische Schmetterlinge in fabelhaften grellen
Farben auf der Kulisse exotischer Planzen zu bewundern
sind.
In 2009, an

with an indoor pavilion (1,300 m

and an outdoor run (2.5 ha) with a pool, was opened. Having
visitors in mind, an ‘African village’ with a bar and a café was
built near the main run. From the elevated terrace of the vil-
lage, which can be reached over a bridge, visitors may obse-
rve the natural panorama of the ZOO and the elephant runs,
with a stream and a waterfall. Free spaces around the run and
the elephant house have been set aside for educational in-
formation boards, some of which will be interactive.

go wybiegu zbudowana została „wioska afrykańska”, w któ-
rej znajduje się bar i kawiarnia. Z wysokiego tarasu wioski,
do której dochodzi się poprzez most, obserwować można
naturalną panoramę zoo oraz wybiegi dla słoni ze strumy-
kiem i wodospadem. Wokół wybiegu, a także w słoniarni
wolne przestrzenie przeznaczone są dla edukacji w formie
plansz dydaktycznych, w tym interaktywnych.

daneben beindet sich das „afrikanische Dörfchen“ mit
einem Cafe und Imbiss. Von der hohen Terrasse im Dörf-
chen, in das man über eine Brücke gelangt, kann man das
Zoo und das Elefantengehege mit einem Bach mit Wasser-
fall überschauen. Ums Gehege und im Elefantenhaus gibt
es Freiräume mit Übersichtstafeln, auch interaktiven, die
didaktischen Zwecken dienen.
Along the northern shore of the lake runs the ‘
Maltanka’
Miniature Railway
, which was opened in 1972. The train
runs to the New Zoo. The length of the line is 3.8 km. One
terminus is called ‘Maltanka’; the other, situated near the
entrance to the New Zoo, is called ‘Zwierzyniec. In 1994, a
rail car popularly referred to as Ryjek (the Snout) came into
use. It is now the oldest working rail car in Europe.

Parkbahn „Maltanka”

Betrieb genommen. Die Parkbahn fährt zum Neuen Zoo.
Die 3,8 km lange Strecke verläuft längs des nördlichen Se-
eufers. Die erste Station heißt „Maltanka”; die Endstation
„Zwierzyniec” (Tiergarten) liegt nahe dem Eingang zum
Zoo. Seit 1994 ist hier ein Triebwagen im Einsatz, der we-
gen seiner Form Ryjek (Schnäuzchen) heißt. Er ist der älte-
ste sich in Betrieb beindliche Triebwagen Europas.
Wzdłuż jeziora biegnie trasa

kursującej do Nowego Zoo, która została uruchomiona
w 1972 r. Trasa kolejki ma długość około 3,8 km i biegnie
wzdłuż północnego brzegu Jeziora Maltańskiego. Stacja
początkowa to „Maltanka”, a końcowa to „Zwierzyniec” (nie-
daleko wejścia do Nowego Zoo). W 1994 r. wprowadzono
do eksploatacji wagon motorowy, ze względu na swój
kształt zwany Ryjkiem. Jest on obecnie najstarszym czyn-
nym wagonem motorowym w Europie.
